Nvidia expanding its presence in the metaverse

One of the largest graphics card manufacturers, Nvidia, is increasing its presence in the metaverse. The company is set to launch a new line of tools for creators in digital worlds. It revealed its efforts to get more involved in the burgeoning metaverse industry. The company recently officially unveiled a set of developer tools focused on digital worlds:

“INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS INDUSTRIES CAN SIGNIFICANTLY ACCELERATE COMPLEX 3D GRAPHICS WORKFLOWS WITH OMNIVERSE TOOLS. WHETHER AN ENGINEER, RESEARCHER, ANIMATOR OR DESIGNER, OMNIVERSE USERS AROUND THE WORLD HAVE CREATED VAST VIRTUAL WORLDS AND REALISTIC SIMULATIONS USING THE PLATFORM'S CORE RENDERING, PHYSICS AND AI TECHNOLOGIES.”

The new tools are packed with artificial intelligence, simulations and 3D models, and surround sound. Creators using the Omniverse Kit tools will already have access to the new upgrades. Nvidia also states that one of the primary features will be the creation of realistic avatars. Nvidia also prepared more information about the upcoming updates on the day of the announcement. These should cover NVIDIA PhysX, scalable particle simulation and Viewport 2.0 extensions.

More and more companies around the world are trying to explore the multiverse through their tools. Nvidia can thus rank among the next company. Great interest in the metaverse was started by Mark Zuckerberg with the presentation of Meta. Definitely we will hear more in the near future.
